Dr. Thomas M. Hitchcock

Thomas M. Hitchcock, Ph.D. is a geneticist by education and self-proclaimed holobiontologist, specializing in the skin biome. Receiving his education at Clemson, Duke, Yale and Weill Cornell; Dr. Hitchcock has spent 20 years performing research in a variety of disciplines such as genetics, tissue engineering, oncology, dermatology, microbiology and aesthetics. Having previously founded Xycrobe Therapeutics and serving as the CEO until acquisition, he Is currently the CSO for Crown Laboratories, who recently launched the topical innovation BIOUJUVE, containing the Xycrobe technology. He is additionally adjunct faculty at the ETSU Quillen College of Medicine, and recently published his first book, “REBOOTING THE BIOME” alongside his collaborator Doris Day, M.D.
